Torquay United Supporter's Trust would once again like to thank the supporters for the generosity after the trust's latest half-time collection...

The trust would like to send their thanks to all the supporters who have always backed their efforts for such a long time now, and no less so at the game versus Macclesfield Town on April 24, when the trust held the half-time collection.

The generosity of the supporters is always appreciated by the trust and that day we raised a fabulous £343.90.

As always the money will be spent wisely and with the supporters' best interests at heart. It will go towards supporting the various projects TUST are involved in such as the Smile Tickets initiative which offers tickets to people who may not otherwise get a chance to attend Plainmoor, the Junior Gulls which growing and blossoming and the ongoing disabled project. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped the trust by doing the bucket collection.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who assisted with the PotS paper vote before the match. Furthermore, we were concerned to hear that some people didn't get to vote. As a result, we would like to apologise to those people who would have liked to have voted, but seemingly were unable to do so.

As is usually the case, we had voting slips, pens and a ballot boxes inside the Family Stand turnstiles and the Pop Side turnstiles. This was advertised via the PA, was in the programme and on the trust website. We even distributed voting slips up in the Gulls Nest and in Boots & Laces, but some people didn't get their vote for some reason.

At the end of the day though, we are dependent on the goodwill of volunteers who gave up their time to carry out the ballot, and we're really sorry if some people missed out, but we'll learn from it.
