Torquay United Supporters' Trust would like to say a big thank you to all the Junior Gulls who attended our most recent Q&A which was held after the match against Accrington Stanley on February 27...
We also sincerely hope that all the new members of the Junior Gulls, who were experiencing a Q&A for the first time enjoyed the experience.
Before the game, as they do most home games, the Junior Gulls formed a guard of honour to welcome the players onto the pitch to face their opponents from Lancashire.
Everyone was in high spirits ahead of the Q&A after just watching Torquay beat Accrington 2-1, thanks to that last-minute own goal from Mr Kempson.
COME ON YOU YELLOWS: The Junior Gulls welcome the players onto the pitch before the game versus Accrington Stanley.
The players who were in for a grilling this time around were Nicky Wroe, Elliot Benyon and Mark Ellis, and of course we would like to thank them for giving up their own time to come and face the sometimes fierce questioning of the Junior Gulls.
But before the grilling began, there was a time for an award, and congratulations go to Elliot Benyon who won the Junior Gulls' Player of the Month award for February. Elliot was presented with his medal and certificate by Heidi Hammond and Adam Luscombe.
Then it was on to the questions. Many, varied questions were asked of the players, so here is just a taste of what they faced...
One of the Junior Gulls asked the players which player they most admired, top which Nicky Wroe answered Dennis Bergkamp, while Elliot Benyon went for Michael Owen.

Then they were asked where they would choose to go if they could travel anywhere in the world to which they both answered Australia.
Then came a food-based question as they were asked what food they eat before a match. Nicky plumped for pasta, jam and toast while Elliot said he went with porridge, chicken and pasta for a pre-match meal.
Our guests were then asked what other sports they enjoyed. Nicky said he was happy to spend time in the saddle and enjoyed cycling. Elliot simply showed how versatile he is by saying all sports, and Mark Ellis said that also enjoyed cricket and squash.
On the subject of grounds, the players were each asked what was the favourite place in which they had played. Nicky went for Man City, Elliot chose Wembley and Mark opted for the Reebok Stadium, ground of his former club, Bolton Wanderers.
Then the players were asked what the atmosphere had been like in the changing room after the match that afternoon. All three of them said that the atmosphere was great and that they had been over the moon and very happy with the result.
Finally the players were asked if they had always played in their current positions. Both Nicky and Elliot answered yes, but it transpires that Mark Ellis wasn't always a no-nonsense central defender and that he was formerly a striker.
ALL TOGETHER NOW: Nicky Wroe, Elliot Benyon and Mark Ellis with the junior Gulls at the Q&A.
As the Q&A drew to a close, three-year-old Gabriel Prior stood up and sang to us all. He sang 'Elvis Isn't Dead' by 'Scouting For Girls', and this went down a storm to great applause from the players and Gabriel's fellow juniors. Thanks go to Gabriel for entertaining everyone with his rendition.
Thanks as always to the juniors for being so well behaved, as each and every one of them was a credit to their parents and to the Junior Gulls.
